Supernova's Gold Connector Set may be used to lengthen an existing wire or create a break in a taillight wire. The latter is common on bikes fitted with S&S couplers and can also be useful if you'd like to be able to remove a rear rack without having to disconnect everything. Or if you find that you're frequently removing your front wheel, and are tired of unplugging the connectors before removing the wheel, and plugging them back on when you install the wheel, you can install the Supernova connectors down near the fork dropout along the hub to headlight wiring.

Unlike standard 2.8mm or 4.8mm connectors, Gold Connectors are spring loaded and are built to last through many disconnections and reconnections over the life of a bike. They are our best recommendation for coupled frames and anyone who plans to regularly "open" a connection in their dynamo wiring.
