Like all of the Carradice "Originals" line of bags, the Lowsaddle Longflap is made of sturdy, waterproof waxed cotton duck with leather straps and reinforcement. It has a reflective triangle on the lid and a protective double layer of cotton duck on the bottom for added durability.
The Lowsaddle Longflap is a large saddle bag designed to hang a bit higher than it similarly sized counterparts. It is nearly as volumous as the Nelson Longflap, yet it hangs 10% higher, making it an ideal candidate for bikes that have less space between their seat rails and the rear wheel (or fender).

It features six metal D-ring strapping points on the top of the bag to give you the option to tie on extra gear (toe straps or a Junk Strap work well with these). Also the two side pockets are large enough to comfortably fit a couple of tubes and a tool roll. Two metal D-Rings are attached to the back of the bag and can be used as shoulder strap mounts (shoulder strap not included). It also features an interior drawstring which pulls up a nylon liner to prevent items from tumbling out when undoing the straps. The outside pockets help you to organize your goodies.
