NOTE: Spider cranks are compatible only with the JIS taper bottom bracket and are not compatible with the older FAG ISO bottom bracket fitted to bikes before 2013. When fitting the new cranks to older bikes you will also need to replace the bottom bracket.

The 44-tooth setup will provide -12% reduced gearing on any 6-speed Brompton, -12% or -18% on any 3-speed Brompton, or -18% reduced gearing on any 1- or 2-speed Brompton. Likewise, the 54-tooth cranket will provide standard gearing on any 1- or 2-speed Brompton or +8% raised gearing on any 3- or 6-speed Brompton. Lastly, the 50-tooth set will provide standard gearing on any 3- or 6-speed Brompton or -7% reduced gearing on any 1- or 2-speed Brompton.
