Schmidt SONdelux 12mm Centerlock 24 hole Black Dynamo Hub

Schmidt Hubs are the best available. This SONdelux is Schmidt's premium hub for small wheeled bikes and is considered the industry standard when the best dynamo hub is what you're looking for. This is the hub we use when adding dynamo lighting to a Brompton G Line.
It is a favorite here at the shop for a wide variety of bike setups. Commuters & Cycle Tourists are the first to come to mind, though if you're a randonneur or other type of cyclist who commonly sets out for big night time miles, then this is your hub.
Originally Schmidt didn't recommend this hub for larger wheeled bikes, but now that LED lights are the norm they have changed that. This is the lowest rolling resistance hub available and while you need to be going 7-8 MPH to keep full brightness on your lights, that's acceptable for many riders. The SON28 would be considered a bit more dependable for slower speed power output.

Use it with any variety of dynamo lights, including Schmidt's top of the line Edelux Lights.
Also will mate well with any of the USB charging devices (yes, even when using a larger wheel).
