Abolish ICE Screenprinting Event w/Brieanna

The Perennial community, in collaboration with artist Brieanna, is hosting a screen printing event in support of abolishing ICE.

The last few weeks in Minneapolis have been sad and scary. We’ve watched our neighbors be taken from us, and the ripple effects of the violence ICE has brought to our community is immeasurable. The thing that has kept our heads above water at Perennial has been each other. Showing up with neighbors to keep each other safe.

So let’s get together on Sunday. We’ll screen print, fundraise, and spend time in community. There will treats to enjoy from Panaderia San Miguel and beverages supplied by Perennial Cycle.

SCREEN PRINTING: Brieanna has a super fun design that is sure to bring a smile to many faces while spreading a critical message - ICE needs to get out. Not just of Minneapolis, but everywhere. We'll be live screen printing at this event, so bring anything that you'd like this design on. In lieu of payment, we encourage you to donate to MIRAC. We also will have some pre-printed T's and totes available for sale for $20 (profits go to MIRAC).

FOOD DRIVE: We will be accepting food donations for the Joyce Food Shelf. Joyce Food Shelf has been taking care of people in need for many years.

CASH DONATIONS: The money raised will be given to MIRAC. MIRAC (Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee) is 100% volunteer run anddoing amazing work.

ICE WATCH CURIOUS?: There will be people from the neighborhood talking about their involvement in protecting our neighborhoods. This isn't a training, but definitely a great way to hear about other people's experiences and determine whether you might want to join a rapid response team.
