The Queer History Ride is a bike ride with historical stops organized by Perennial Cycle. Noah Barth is an amazing local Queer Historian that will be sharing local queer history at site's he's chosen for this ride.
Perennial Cycle's organizing team and Noah Barth work hard to make this challenging history as community oriented (and FUN!) as possible. If you join us there's a good chance that you'll learn some history and even a better chance that you'll enjoy the day's ride.

The ride will be a total of 13 miles with 6 stops along the way. We will roll at a casual conversational pace (7-10 MPH). This is a slow roll, though if you are riding with small kids or if you're having difficulty keeping pace, the group will need to move ahead. It would be best if you have a lock so that if you need to call a friend or jump on a different transportation, you can safely leave your bike behind and pick it up later... Perennial Cycle will not have any sag wagons available.
Things to help plan for joining us:
- if you haven't ridden yet this season, get your bike out, air the tires and give it a ride around the block to know that it's rideable. Perennial will have a couple of mechanics at the start of the ride. They will happily check an issue for you on site, but their capabilities will be very limited...
- bring water. Perennial will have some coolers with water, but there won't be enough to fill everyone's bottle
- pack a snack
- sunscreen! (hopefully it will be sunny)
- bring your lock. IF for any reason you'd need to leave, you'll need to lock your bike for retrieval later
