Sinewave Cycles Beacon 2 Dynamo Headlight/Charger

The Sinewave Beacon 2 is an intellegent light that provides bright illumination as well as USB charging; no need for a separate charging device. The beacon provides a 'flood light' symmetrical round beam pattern @ 750 Lumens.
The Beacon 2 is the ideal choice for off-road riding due to its intellegent power balancing, which is optimized for low to medium speeds. By tiering the light production between 200 Lumens @ 5 MPH, 500 @ 10 MPH, and 750 @ 13 MPH+, the light optimizes how power is used.
Other unique features of this light are that it can be paired with an external USB power bank as a power source for the light (including rear light if you have one installed). This allows the unit to be at max brightness at any speed (flicker-free). Also the light has the ability to shift between hub dynamo power and power bank power, until external power is no longer required.

Here are the new and improved features of Beacon 2:

• Greatly reduced flickering at low speed.
  
• Low-brightness mode - when the toggle is in the down position only one LED will turn on, even when powered by the dynamo.  This lets you use the charger and light at the same time with less fighting between the two.
  
• USB charger is disabled in high-brightness mode.
  
• Controllable standlight - it will turn off with the toggle switch, rather than always remaining on until the capacitor discharges.
  
• Standlight charges even when light is off.  So if you ride all day with the light off, stop for the night, and then need a little light at camp, the capacitor will be charged and provide light when you turn the toggle on.
  
• Blinking mode - when using battery power the light will switch between 'steady' and 'blinking' mode every time you move the toggle into the 'down' position
  
• Powering lights via external battery works for Beacon light AND rear light (if you are using one).
  
• No resistor needed for Supernova taillight
  
  The Sinewave Beacon is made in the USA and has a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
  
  Please note that this light does not come with a bracket. Choose from one below if needed.
  The power wire is approximately 39 inches long. This wire is easy to connect to a Shimano or Shutter Precision hub connector. If you have a SON hub, you will want 4.8mm female spade connectors (we will professionally crimp them onto the wires) or the Perennial recommended SON coax adapter (we will solder on the male plug; this shortens the wire slightly).
