At 16 km/h / ~10 MPH (in 700c-wheel) the SON 28 generator arrives at the conventional nominal output of 6 Volt/3 Watt and yields power with more than 65% efficiency for head and rear light or charging sets. With lights switched off a SON runs almost as smoothly as any good front-wheel hub without generator.
