Tubus TARA Lowrider Rack

The longest standing low-rider model in the Tubus line, TARA may be the strongest lowrider rack made. The stabilizing loop that crosses over the tire adds strength and rigidity to the system. The lowrider mounting system keeps your load's center of gravity down, improving your bike's handling. When used in combination with the CARGO, TARA is the perfect match for long-distance touring.

The TARA has a super mounting system made to be compatible with a variety of forks. It adjusts forward and back, and up and down, so that even if your rack fittings are aren't 100% perfect, Tara will still fit securely.

Tubus' thin-walled chromoly steel is light weight and more fatigue resistant than an aluminum rack, but any rack is vulnerable if overloaded or involved in an accident. TARA's steel construction means it is also easily repaired in the field with common welding equipment found in auto repair shops all around the world.
