A generator inside the Schmidt SONDelux Dynamo hub produces energy which powers the lights on your bike (or charges your devices). No need to wonder if your batteries are charged. The energy is always available to power your light and shine the road in front of you.
Every one of us at Perennial Cycle has dynamo lighting set up on our bikes. If you are a transportation or touring cyclist, adding a dynamo to your bike should be high priority. 
We've installed this hand built wheel on a few (very boss) Omnium cargo bike builds.

The Schmidt SONDelux hub is the high bar that all other dynamo hubs are compared to. If you want the most reliable and efficient hub, this is it. The SONDelux is a finely crafted and extremely well engineered product of Germany.
The Velocity Cliffhanger is a super versatile touring, commuting do it all rim. Tubeless ready and designed for 45-65mm wide tire. Compatible with any tire type (tubeless or tube-tire). Velocity recommends thin rim tape, so the wheel will come to you with tubeless rim tape installed.
